Roasters thoughts: “Colombian coffees are loved amongst the roasting community because of their versatility, I say versatility because they can tick all the boxes if required, when I’m roasting this coffee I want to accentuate the sweetness while preserving a gentle amount of acidty to cut thru those much loved milk drinks.”
Fresh Colombian coffees have landed and were excited to see a fresh inclusion drop into the roastery. This new coffee by farmer Jose Ordeñez comes from the best coffee-growing region Brusselas, Huila.
The Ordeñez family owns and operates neighboring farms in the Brusselas region and this coffee is a culmination of their efforts. So this coffee is essentially a co-operative within the same family. This is something that sits very well with us because we’re a family run roastery and love to support other families wherever we can.
An exceptional coffee and a brilliant example of a solid coffee out of Colombia. Ticking all the boxes and it’s just glorious to drink.
